A New Armenian–French Design Voice Enters the International Scene։ Maróm by Marom in France

Maison Marom proudly announces the official presentation of Maróm in France - a debut that marks an important milestone for the Armenian lifestyle group and introduces a new, culturally rooted design language to the European fashion landscape.

Maróm is a brand where tradition becomes narrative. “From tradition, a story takes shape. That of Maróm speaks in many voices,” says the brand’s creative statement - and indeed, every piece captures the quiet poetry of gesture, craft, and memory. Here, fabrics meet and embrace, prints converse in subtle harmony, and colors find their own dialogue. Each collection opens a new world, rooted yet sincere, timeless yet unmistakably contemporary.

Founded in 2025 by Mareta Gevorkyan and Olga Medelyan, Maróm stands at the crossroads of Armenia and France. The brand draws inspiration from the landscapes we walk, the myths we inherit, and the materials that embody our identity. By weaving cultures, symbols, and gestures into clothing, Maróm creates silhouettes with deep narrative presence -a conversation between heritage and modernity.
The French presentation offered international professionals a first encounter with the brand’s distinctive universe, where echoes of Armenia and France resonate together. Maróm’s prints, textures, and forms sparked strong interest among stylists, buyers, and cultural institutions, positioning the brand as a rising voice in cross-cultural design.

Maróm’s commitment is rooted firmly in today’s world. The brand follows a deliberately sustainable and responsible approach, producing one streamlined collection per year in limited quantities. Natural and certified materials -silk, cotton, wool, alpaca -form the core of each garment. If synthetic fibers are present, they serve only two functions: ensuring durability or maintaining structural integrity.
Designs are created in Paris and produced in Armenia, Portugal, and Italy, in workshops chosen for their expertise, ethics, and shared values. This model allows Maróm to honor craftsmanship while embracing a transparent and conscientious path.

“Presenting Maróm in France is both a homecoming and a beginning. Our brand was born from the desire to tell stories -Armenian stories, French stories, universal stories -through the language of clothing. We believe in garments that carry meaning, in craftsmanship that honors its roots, and in fashion that inspires connection rather than consumption. Sharing Maróm with an international audience affirms that beauty grounded in culture can resonate anywhere in the world”,-  the brand CEO Marine Guinobert noted.

By presenting Maróm in France, Maison Marom introduces a brand that embodies cultural dialogue, material artistry, and meaningful storytelling. Maróm stands not merely as a fashion, but as an odyssey of beauty, meaning, and craft.
